When we partnered with Wattpad co-founder and CEO Allen Lau, the mandate was clear: create an environment rooted in trust and respect. As Wattpad scaled into a global entertainment powerhouse—culminating in one of Canada’s largest tech acquisitions at US$660 million—their space had to evolve with them.

Allen and his leadership team understood a fundamental truth of neuroscience:
